We hope to have you join us for a Race to Remember, a race to help those in our community affected by Alzheimer's Disease.  All participants will receive a t-shirt and a memorable 5K run/walk along some of Rome's most scenic pathways and bridges.  RUN IT!   WALK IT!   ENJOY IT!   Make plans to join us!

THEME

The theme of this year's run is 'Heroes vs. Villains' and we encourage you to dress up as your favorite one and let's have some fun with this.  We'll have the MUSIC pumping...so prepare to have some FUN!

COURSE

This course is USATF-certified, and it travels along the beautiful Etowah and Oostanaula Rivers.  Starting and Finishing at the Courtyard Rome Riverwalk (a Marriott property), the race promises to be FLAT, FAST, and FUN!!

PROFESSIONAL TIMING

In addition to a certified course--which is a Peachtree RR Qualifier--the race will be professionally-timed by Wire2Wire Running, LLC, using MyLaps' R.F.I.D. technology...the same technology used to time the Boston Marathon, London Marathon, and Tour de France.

T-SHIRT

Ah yes, the coveted prize of every participant...The T-SHIRT!  Designed by professional graphic designer Lamante S. Attaud--originally from New York--this comfort-soft T-Shirt will be the talk of the town.

Please Note: T-SHIRT SIZE IS GUARANTEED TO THOSE WHO PRE-REGISTER BEFORE JUNE 13, 11:00pm.  BEYOND THAT DATE, T-SHIRT SIZE CANNOT BE GUARANTEED.

RACEDAY REGISTRATION

Day-of-the-Race Registration ($40) will begin at 7:00am at the Marriott's outdoor Courtyard, up until 10 min. before the race.

PACKET PICK UP  (Two options)

• FRIDAY: Downtown Fit Gym, Friday, 10am-5pm, June 18th.  (103 W 1st Street, Rome, GA 30161)
• SATURDAY: The morning of race, beginning at 7:00am at Bridgepoint Plaza

AWARDS:

1st, 2nd, and 3rd OVERALL (Male & Female)   NOTE: TOP MALE and TOP FEMALE WILL EACH WIN A FREE NIGHT'S STAY AT THE COURTYARD ROME RIVERWALK  in ROME, GA  ($250 value).

Medals for 1st, 2nd, 3rd (Male & Female) will be awarded in the following Age Groups:

14&Under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60&Over

WATER STATION and POST-RACE FOOD

There will be a water station at the River Dog Outpost near Bridgepoint Plaza. Additionally, there will also be water, prepackaged snack items, and fruit at the finish on the patio of the Marriott, as well as Sponsor Booths.

PARKING

Parking is available at 3rd Ave Parking Deck or the Public Lot next to the Rome Courtyard Marriott.
