TWO DAY EVENT

July 4th:  The Shark Run - 5K Run and 5K Competitive Walk - The Wharf in Orange Beach

July 5th:  The Shark Adventure Run - 2.5 and 1 Mile Races - Cobalt, The Restaurant in Orange Beach

The Shark Run

There will be categories for both a 5K Run and a 5K Competitive Walk.

The Run will start at 7:00 AM; the Competitive Walk will start at 7:05 AM.

The entire 5K course will be on the campus of the Wharf - all pavement.

ALL finishers for events will get a Finisher's medal, and both events will have age group awards.

The Shark Adventure Run - 2.5 Miles and 1 Mile

The Shark Adventure Run will be July 5th at 7:00 a.m. at Cobalt, The Restaurant, located under the Perdido Pass Bridge in Orange Beach. 

The 2.5-mile Adventure Run is half road and half beach course.  The 1-mile Adventure Run is all beach.  Competitors in the Adventure Runs will wear flag belts and will be chased by "SHARKS".

ALL finishers for BOTH events will get a Finisher's medal.

NEW for 2021, The SHARK ATTACK Challenge! 

Register and finish one of the races on BOTH days and receive the first edition SHARK ATTACK MEDAL.  Only those who complete a race on both days are eligible.  You don’t want to miss out on this!!!

We will have the BEST Independence Day running singlet for the July 4th race, and a similar garment for the July 5th race. (You will get two shirts if you participate both days!!!)

There will be FREE BEER and refreshments for BOTH events.

Monday, July 5: 5:45 AM - 6:45 AM at Cobalt, the Restaurant

Post-race Party: (For BOTH July 4th and July 5th Events)

Awards party, FREE refreshments and cold beverages including BEER for all participants.
