_ The 2nd Annual Pilot Summer Scramble 5K:
Come out to the 2nd Annual Summer Scramble 5K presented by the Pilot Club of Monroe. The race starts at Centerhill Baptist Church in Monroe GA.
Pilot International was founded in 1921 in Macon, Georgia. Pilot Club service projects and fundraisers benefit the local community. Hands-on service projects emphasize Brain-related disorders, disabilities and BrainMinders and other projects like Anchor club, Uniting Hope for Children and Pilot Park
Event details and schedule
Race day registration and packet pickup will begin at 6:30AM
5K starts at 7:30AM
Awards: Awards will be presented to in person participants only. Overall Male/Female, Masters Male/Female, and Top 3 Male/Female in age groups beginning with 10 and under through 75 and over.
Run at Home Option: Run your 3.1 miles anywhere and submit your finish time by Aug. 28 at 12 Noon to: http://tiny.cc/21SummerScramble5K Run at home participants are not eligible for race day awards and will be placed at the end of your respective age group for series points.
Shirts and Goodies: T-shirts will be guaranteed to in- person participants who pre-register by 8/21/21 and will be given to late registrants as available the day of the event. No shirts will be given to run at home participants.
Series Affiliation: The race is part of the 2021 Black Bag Race Series.
Other Info: In case of rain, the races will go on. Delay of the start may happen in case of severe weather in the area at race time. If severe weather continues, then the race director or local authorities may make the call to cancel the race at that time. Sorry, no refunds.
