5K and Half Marathon Race Awards:

Race the Region series points for top overall and age group finishers will be awarded for both races!

The half marathon race course will incorporate 2 miles of the Coffee Creek trails, the roads in the surrounding neighborhood, and nearby county roads.  The 5K will be held on the trails at Coffee Creek.

Custom Unique Overall & Age Group Awards – Top Overall Male & Female, Top Masters Male & Female, Top 3 Male and Female in the following age groups, 10 & under, 11-12, 13-14,15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75 and up                                                 

Entry Fee: 5K - $25, Half Marathon - $40  Both races have a "no shirt" option that will save $5.  Participants must register before 5/1 in order to be guarenteed a shirt size.

Pre Packet Pick Up:  Will take place on Fridat, May 21st from 10AM - 6PM and Saturday May 22nd from 10AM - 5PM at the Extra Mile Fitness Company, 1330 E Lincolnway, Valparaiso, Indiana 46383.

We are happy to announce that thanks to the relaxing of restrictions on outdoor group activities we will be able to have a single start for both the Half Marathon and the 5K on race morning.  The official start time for everyone in the Half Marathon will be 7:30AM.  The official start time for everyone in the 5K will be 8:00AM.

We do ask that participants still maintain safe distancing before, during, and after the event and that they wear face covings when not running.

In order to provide for safe distancing, the starting line for each race will remain open for 15 minutes.  We will be recording start times for each person and your official time will begin when you cross the starting line.

Also, we are proud to announce that thanks to a collaboration with Chesterton Brewery a portion of the race proceeds will be donated to help create a First Responders Memorial to be located at 124 N 8th St. Chesterton, IN.  As a thank you for taking part in the event, participants will receive a coupon for a free beverage of their choice at Chesterton Brewery following the race.
