_ The 2021 Annual Liberty 5k Run/Walk:
 

The Liberty 5k is returning to downtown Morris!  Mark your calendars for Saturday, July 3rd!  Modifications have been made to offer an in person, safe and socially distanced run, that can easily transition into a traditional run should mitigations allow.

Race Times:  Race will begin at 6:00 pm.  Runners will be called to the start line in 5-minute waves, based on estimated finish times.  Should COVID mitigations allow, all runners will begin at 6:00 pm.

Kids Race is BACK!  Race Day registration only $5 per child.  Race begins at 5:15 PM

Registration Fees:
Early Registration by May 31, 2021: $25
Early Registration, 14 and under pre-registered by May 31, 2021: $18
General Registration June 1 -25 (all runners): $30
Late Registration, June 26 – July 2 (all runners): $40
Race Day Registration (all runners): $50
Virtual Run: $35 (Registration includes T-Shirt and downloadable race bib.  Complete your race anytime/anywhere between June 28th and July 4th and submit your results here.

All registrations will be on line with the exception of race day registration.

All registrations must be received  by June 6th to be guaranteed a race shirt.

Special Instructions:
* Please bring your own food and water if needed.
* Adhere to CDC and IDPH Social Distancing Guidelines before, during, after the race and at packet pick up.
* Masks are required at all times.  Participants may remove their mask once on the course.  Masks must be put back on when crossing the finish line.

Age Divisions:

14 & Under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75 and older
 
Awards:

All awards will be mailed to recipients following the run unless mitigations allow for an awards ceremony.

Overall Top 3 Male and Female
Overall Top 3 Male and Female Military
Overall Top 3 Male and Female—Masters (40+)
Top 3 of Each Age Division Male/Female
Overall winners will not be eligible for age division medals.

Results will be posted on www.liberty5k.run

Other features for 2021!

Cash prizes to Top 3 Male and Top 3 Female Finishers.
Cash prizes to the 3 running clubs with the most participants: 1st prize - $750, 2nd - $500, 3rd - $300.
