Crisis Center, Inc. is proud to present the seventh annual Just A Call Away! This year, participants have two options: a live chip-timed 5K and a virtual challenge. You can choose to do the in-person 5K, the virtual challenge, or BOTH! Runners and walkers of all ages and abilities are welcome.

VIRTUAL CHALLENGE
 

What is the virtual challenge? For this year's virtual challenge, participants will submit how many miles they run or walk between July 28th and August 28th. Think you can go 100 miles? Set a goal for yourself in your Runsignup profile and hit the sidewalk! We'll have a leaderboard in the Results, so you can follow along with our mileage leaders!

How to Submit Virtual Miles: You may submit as many miles as you run or walk from July 28th until August 28th. To enter your miles, visit your profile on RunSignup and click Submit Virtual Results. Or click here to find your name, where you can also find the Submit Virtual Results option. Each day you run or walk, you may submit the number of miles from that day. If you would like to be considered for top distance prizes, you must complete Load Activity from File on each run submitted. 

*Race shirts and swag come with ALL race registrations, virtual or live. Must register by Monday, August 2, to receive your shirt size on race weekend.

Just A Call Away 5k benefits Crisis Center, Inc., which serves the unmet needs of people experiencing personal crisis or mental health issues and respond with services that promote coping, emotional health and well being. 

COVID-19 Precautions and Safety Guidelines

1. Volunteers must wear a mask when they are within 6' of other people. Participants must wear a mask to pick up their packet. Hand sanitizer and gloves will be available for volunteers and participants. 

2. The live chip-timed race will use a flex start time. Times TBA. Your time will be clocked using a chip attached to your bib. Your time starts when you cross the start line. 

3. For water stations, extra tables will be utilized to spread out supplies, and cups will be spread out to avoid touching. Volunteers will not hand water to runners. Volunteers will use gloves and masks when filling water cups and placing them on the table. 

Cancellation and Refund Policy

All race entries are non-transferable and non-refundable. The event will occur rain or shine, hot or cold. We reserve the right to cancel in extreme circumstances. All plans are subject to change contingent upon state and local restrictions at time of event. In that event of a cancellation, there will be no refunds. Entry fees will be considered a donation to Crisis Center, Inc.
