_ The 2021 The Reservoir Run Half Marathon 5K, and Kids Fun Run:

The Weston Kiwanis Club and The Weston Kiwanis Club Foundation, Inc. are honored to host the Tenth year of the Reservoir Run Half Marathon & 5K.   We encourage you to join us for the Kiwanian's premier event. The Weston Community, Police, Town and Schools join together every year to bring you one of the finest events in CT. 

We are continuing our support of Child support programs.  The Connecticut FOODSHARE programs and The Child & Family Guidance Center (CFGC) programs providing culturally-informed mental health services and complementary supports to children, teenagers, and their families are our major beneficiaries.  We are asking everyone to join us and support these efforts by contributing either as a runner and/or a caring donor.

All of our events have a great reputation - always well organized, great swag, and grateful beneficiaries helping those who need it most. You will appreciate the attention to details and friendliness of everyone involved. For those who have run our course in October, the terrain and amazing scenery was uniquely deigned by Mother Nature! We think you'll love the views and the challenge wherever you can run or walk the distance - but this year there are different Covid Compliant rules.

LOCATION: All running events will use the same HM and 5K courses prepared for 2019 races.   Race Day Registration, package pickup,  and starting points will be in front of the Weston High School.   Starting corrals and procedures, and race finish procedures will be compliant with COVID rules. Results will be recorded and published to all race registrants.   Non runners can donate any time.  The earlier you register and/or donate, the earlier your generosity will be distributed through the Weston Kiwanis Foundation  to help those in need. 

The Local Weston Courses:   Although roads are not closed, both courses are well maintained. 

The 5K course has some rolling hills.  It's a simple loop course on quiet roads.

For those that have run with us before, both 5K and Half Marathon Weston Virtual courses will be identical to 2019! 

AFTER YOUR GREAT RACE FINISH:  COVID-19 restrictions preclude a post race celebration for 2021.  All Finisher registrants will receive Finisher Medals as a thank you gift.  

Race Finishing results will be presented ASAP after the October 24th results are recorded for the 5K and the Half Marathon.   Overall male and female champions in both races receive awards & are removed from their age groups. 

Only the 5K has age divisions  9 & under, and 10-13.  BOTH 5K & Half Marathon events have age groups 14-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+  

OUR DONATIONS - ORGANIZED BY THE KIWANIS CLUB OF WESTON 
Proceeds from the Race Registration and Donations  will go to the Kiwanis Club of Weston Foundation, Inc. (501(c)3) for The Connecticut Food Bank FOODSHARES programs, The Child & Family Guidance Center (CFGC) programs, and 5K proceeds will go to the Weston Boosters Club for the Leaders training programs.  Other needs identified by the Foundation will also receive funds as needed.

Half marathon participants must be AT LEAST 14 years old in order to run the 13.1mi course.
