The Joe DeWaele Memorial Foundation is hosting the 1st annual Joe’s Jog For A Cure 5K/1 Mile Fun Run.

It is our intention to honor our son, Joe, whom we lost to Hypodiploid Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in 2019 at the age of nine. Joe showed us all what it means to be brave and strong and never once gave up. Joe loved being a part of his running club at school which is the inspiration behind the creation of this event.

All proceeds will go to benefit pediatric cancer research for Hypodiploid Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. This rare subtype is what Joe fought for 9 months.

When:  Saturday, November 27th, 2021 – 5k Race starts at 8:30am - please arrive between 7:30 -8:15am to pick up your Race Packet

Benefitting Pediatric Cancer Research Grants for Hypodiploid Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia

T-Shirts for 5K / 1mile Runners  will be included & guaranteed with registrations PRIOR to Oct. 31th, 2021.  No registration on day of event--must pre-register online.  Registration closes on 11/26/21. This will be a professional chip timed 5K race by Florida Race Day.
