Description
Start the new year with a healthy, fun family event dedicated to a
worthy cause! Come join us for a beautiful Run/Walk along the Augusta
Canal and help us raise money for Hayden's upcoming Heart Surgery.
Registration begins at 8am. Save $5.00 by registering online through
Christmas Day! Children 12 and under are free. Refreshments and raffle
(drawing for Fleet Feet and Road ID gift certificates) will be held
immediately following the run.
Hayden1Hayden was born with a rare, severe congenital heart defect known as Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS), requiring a palliative three-stage surgery. Hayden will receive his third open-heart surgery in January. As with the last two surgeries, we will be heading to Atlanta while Sibley Heart Center performs another miracle for Hayden. Our family would like to raise money to cover medical expenses and living expenses while in Atlanta. Thank you for your support. ~The Newsome Family
