_ The 21st Annual Brooklet Peanut Run 5k:
 

This will be the 21st Annual Brooklet 5k Run. Last years race was a virtual 5k due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This year the race has been moved to Saturday August 28 and will begin at 7:15 A.M. The location of the race will be at the Brooklet Elementary School 600 West Lane Street Brooklet, GA. The awards ceremony will be in front of the school at 8:30 A.M. 

The actual Peanut Festival has been moved to the third Saturday in September, however we are keeping the race in August.

The 5k run is hosted by the Southeast Bulloch High School Cross Country Team(s) as their fundraiser to help with travel costs within the season and also assist with the purchasing of uniforms.

PRICING: Anyone signing up prior to Through August 9th will pay $20. entry fee and will be guaranteed a T-Shirt Deadline. The price will increase to $25. starting on  August 10th and there is no guarantee of a t-shirt from that date on. Anyone, signing up on sight on race day will pay $30.

Online registration will be cut off at 12:01 P.M. on August 27th.

Packet Pickup:

Friday, August 27 from 4 P.M. Until 7:00 P.M. in front of Brooklet Elementary School

Saturday, August 28th from 6:00 A.M. until 6:55 A.M. Brooklet Elementary School.

Last Chance Registration is available at packet pickup.

This years’ race will be limited to 500 runners.

About the Run & Course: This year's race will be on the 4th Saturday of August. In years past the run has been held on the 3rd Saturday in August. The run ambles through the picturesque streets of Brooklet, GA. The course is flat & fast. In years past the course has been certified, however, the certification has expired. Race organizers are attempting to re-certify the course however due to very few people available we cannot guarantee a certification by race date. The course will be well marked and guided by a lead bicycle. It is imperative that all participants wear their assigned race bib# on their front and visible at all times as timing will be by this number.
