_ The 2021 River Rat 4 Mile:
 

We've got another local small race - a 4 miler on the levee.  It is open to all ages and abilities, including runners and walkers.

It's also another chance for runners to test their speed and make the state honor rolls.  It's an old fashion mass start race out and back on the levee.  We're going retro using tear tag bib numbers, timing with Seiko watches and using a narrowing finish chute to record results.  

If you or somebody you know would like to volunteer, let the race director know.

The Four Mile Race will begin promptly at 7:30 a.m. 

If you have been vaccinated for the COVID virus, you will not need to wear a mask.
Otherwise, wear a mask during the event.  You may take off your mask once on the course.

The race will be limited to 35 runners.  Since were not doing chip timing, results will be based on gun time only. Keeping the race field small will minimize the delay at the start.

Pre-registrations only, no day of race signups.  Shirts will be guaranteed for the first 35 registrants. So be sure to sign up early!
