The YMCA annual Santa Run 5K/10k and 1 Mile Elf Run/Walk is a Hybrid Race for 2021.  The race will be offered both in-person (Monocacy Village Park-409 Delaware Rd, Frederick, MD  21701) and virtually for your convenience.  The race will enforce the current COVID-19 State and Local Regulations on safety and social distancing.  A Virtual Race is a great option and you can run/walk this race anywhere between Friday, December 10 through Sunday, December 12, 2021.

This race was formed to promote family-oriented fitness in the community and surrounding areas.  This year all proceeds benefit the YMCA of Frederick County’s Annual Campaign to provide individuals suffering from Parkinson's Disease the opportunity to participate in YMCA programs, especially our Pedaling for Parkinson's cycle class and Rock Steady Boxing.

What do you get with this registration?

Race shirt 

• Shirt sizes available for ages 5 and up!  Shirt size will be guaranteed if registered by November 20, 2021.
• Ages 1-4 will receive a race cinch bag
• Packet Pick-up day/times TBA
• Regardless of what race you are participating (in-person or virtual), If you want your packet mailed to you an extra fee of $8.00 is required at check-out.  Packets will be mailed by December 13, 2021.
• All packets are required to be picked up at packet pick-up, requested to mail or at the in-person race day.  No packets will be available after the race.

Finisher Medal

• Medals double as a holiday ornament!!
• Everyone receives a finisher medal

• Overall Male and Female in each race category (5K and 10K)
• First and second place winners, male and female, for each age group and race category (5K and 10K).
• Age Group categories:  10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
