About This Event:

First presented in 1991, the Kal-Haven Trail Run is a point to point 33.5 mile race on a "rails to trails" with a crushed limestone surface. The event begins in Kalamazoo at the Kal-Haven Trail's 10th Street trailhead and finishes in South Haven. Kal-Haven Trail Run benefits Girls on the Run of Greater Kalamazoo and Kalamazoo Area Runners.

• ONLINE REGISTRATION CLOSES ON OCTOBER 27TH (WED., 11:59PM)
  • Solo Registration - $70
  • 2 Person Team Registration - $50 per team member
  • 3 to 6 Person Team Registration - $40 per team member
• ON-SITE REGISTRATION AVAILABLE
  • Solo Registration - $80
  • 2 Person Team Registration - $60 per team member
  • 3 to 6 Person Team Registration - $50 per team member

• Friday, October 29th - 3-7pm @ KELC Events, 1417 S. Burdick Street, Kalamazoo 49001

• Saturday, October 30th (Race Morning) from 6:00 am – 7:15 am @ Kal-Haven Trail on 10th Street (where the race starts)  

Event Information:

Solo Runners – 7:00 am start

• Kalamazoo to South Haven, MI 33.5 miles
• Driving directions from start to finish line http://g.co/maps/etxcs
• Solo runners may have up to 3 drop bags:
  • #1 – Gobles
  • #2 – Lacota
  • #3 – South Haven (finish line) – all drop bags will be transported to South Haven after solo runners have passed through the aid station.

2 Person Teams – 7:15 am start

3 to 6 Person Teams – 7:30 am start

• Teams with fewer than 6 runners are still required to complete each leg as detailed below.

The Fine Print

• All registrations are final, no refunds or deferments will be given.
• To guarantee a t-shirt, registration must be received by 10/16/2021.
  • Solo Runners – limited to 100 participants (age 18 & up)
  • 2 Person Team – limited to 25 teams
  • 3 to 6 Person Teams – limited to a maximum of 25

• Important note for 3 to 6 person COED relay teams
  • A coed 3-4 person team must have a minimum of one female runner
  • A coed 5-6 person team must have a minimum of two female runners 

• Team member substitutions: The team captain may make changes to their teams online up to midnight on 10/29/2021.

Tee Shirts:

To be guaranteed a Tee Shirt, registration must be received by 10/16/2021.  Extras will be ordered but available on a "First Come, First Serve" basis.

 Awards:

• All finishers will receive a medal
