Welcome! 

For 2021, Millennium Meadows Marathon is planning a LIVE Full Marathon, Half Marathon and 10k. All three events will take place Sunday August 29th.

The 4th Annual Millennium Meadows Marathon events occur at Secchia Meadows in Millennium Park, one of the many Kent County Parks and what we think is the most scenic and beautiful. You will run on a wide and paved path that crosses a footbridge, winds along the Grand River and cuts through meadows. Most of the course is heavily shaded.

COVID PROTOCOL: Special protocols, such as masks, etc, may be necessary at time of event. We will operate based on the latest information from CDC, Michigan Department of Public Health, Kent County Health Dept.

Events

Full Marathon           6 loops for 26.2 miles

Half Marathon           3 loops for 13.35 Half Marathon (with a 13.1 split mat!) 

10k Distance             1 loop 

Aid Stations

There will be two aid stations located on each loop, stocked with water and Gatorade. Water and Gatorade tables will be well spread out and volunteers will place cups onto the tables. There will be no food provided on course.

Full Marathon                        6:00am

Half Marathon                       7:00am  

10K (1 Modified loop)           8:00am  

Post-Race Village

After completing your event, Post-Race Village will be open to come and pick up a prepackaged snack, water, Gatorade and beverages provided by New Holland Brewing CO. Secchia Meadows is blessed with tons of grassy space to spread out, recover and cheer on incoming runners

Packet Pickup

You will have an opportunity to pick up your bib and swag, both the day before the race, at a location to be later announced, as well as race morning, starting at 5:15am

** RACE THE RACE DIRECTOR CHALLENGE ** 

This year at Millennium Meadows Marathon, we will host West Michigan’s first Race the Race Director Challenge. You’ll have a chance to line up with folks who bring you all of our great races and have a chance to actually race them!

How do YOU participate?

·       Register for any distance at the Millennium Meadows Marathon, held Aug 29, 2021.

·       Through our Run Sign Up (DONATIONS) link, make a donation of any amount, to Kent County Parks. You MUST list your name as the "on behalf of"

·       Show up on race day and run your event!

What would you win?

Participants must donate to Kent County Parks via the Donate button on our page. For each participating race director, there will be one winner randomly selected from the finishing times better than the race director. The winners will win the following:

·       Special Gift Basket from New Holland Brewing CO

·       Complimentary race registration from the Race Director you beat.

** There will be only one winner selected per participating race director, that donated to Kent County Parks, and had a finish time better than the race director. We will randomly draw a winner from the times, that are better than the race directors. Each winner wins both prizes.
