Spectrum Health is pleased to invite you back to the annual Danish Dash 5K Run and Walk on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at 8 a.m.!

Celebrate health, wellness and the natural morning beauty of Baldwin Lake before you and your family head over to the Grand Dansk Parade. View all Danish Festival activities at danishfestival.org/.

Registration includes:

• Certified 5K course
• Timed race with medals
• ‘Dress Like a Dane’ costume contest
• 2021 Danish Dash race shirt 
• Virtual Run/Walk option

The following guidelines will be implemented for the safety of participants, volunteers and event staff:

• Open start line - race will not start as a group, your chip time starts when you start the race
• Open area - start line and race staging will be spread out to maximize social distancing
• Results - posted online only
• No awards ceremony - to avoid crowding. Medals will be mailed out after the event. 
• Canceled Kids Fun Run - however, children are allowed to participate with registered adults in the 5K events (strollers allowed). Kids shirts available for $10 each.  
• Social distancing/mask wearing - participants will be required to follow the local health mandates in place at the time and location of the event but will not be required to wear a mask while running/walking.  Our pre-race email will have reminders of current guidelines.
