 Let's throw kindness like confetti... or maybe like chalk!!!

Please join us for our CDA Sources of Strength Color Run. The goal of the event is to help promote healthy and happy living to our local youth as well as provide a family-friendly day to the community. In doing so, we've made it a priority to ensure that 100% of the proceeds from this event go directly to our secondary schools! This way we help support the youth in our community and you would surely take back beautiful & colorful fun memories along with you.

Sources of Strength is a program where kids from all walks of life create a culture within their school that empowers change through diversity and compassion. This dynamic club is student-led and assists in helping all students find their personal strength through a message of hope, health, and strength. 

The Coeur d’Alene School District adopted this way of thinking in our secondary schools. Lake City and Coeur d’Alene High Schools, Canfield, Lakes, and Woodland Middle Schools have all embraced this way of life into their daily walk. We are integrating the program into our Elementary Schools this school year. We currently have it at NEXA, Skyway, Atlas, and Winton Elementary Schools. Students are bridging healthy communication with vital parts of the Sources of Strength wheel while they continue to strive for greatness. Our students are doing some phenomenal things within their buildings. From campaigns focusing on healthy activities and finding a mentor, to being thankful and encouraging greatness within our peers. Sources of Strength peer leaders continue to impress. They are truly shouting from the rooftops with excitement.

We care for your safety along with environment, so we provide certified organic biodegradable colors to enjoy with your loved ones. So we will not allow participants to get their own colors. For maximum fun and pop of colors on you wear white clothing and don't forget to carry towels in your car to dust off colors on you at the end of the fun event.

The 1.5 Mile Color Run is for everyone who want to walk/run a 1 mile course. This is a fun 1 mile event so there will be no timing. This is open to kids and adults to be participants. The 5K run is optional. No additional cost to run the course twice. 

All students that are between the ages of 5-17 get to run for free. All we ask is that they bring a can of food to donate to the Coeur d'Alene Food Bank. THANKS
