Course Description
The course is a clover leaf design running 3 smaller loops to total one large 18.5 mile loop.
You will come back to the start finish at the end of each smaller loop.
Loop 1 is about 6 miles, Loop 2 is about 7 miles and Loop 3 is about 6.5 miles.
Approximate elevation gain and loss per approximate 18 miles is 2800 feet.
The course is made up of fire roads, wide trails and single track trails.
There are sections with rocks and roots.
You must hit 75% of the distance (78 miles) by 75% of the time (6:30am Sunday)
You must hit 90% of the distance (91 miles) by 90% of the time (11:00am Sunday)
Refund Policy: A 50% refund will be available up to 8weeks before race. No rollovers or transfers to next year.
Pacers are allowed after 50 Miles.
They must wear 2 bibs (one on back). They can not mule. Pacers should have their own nutritional supplies. Cost $25 paid day of.
100 miler runners may use poles after 50 miles.
Directions:
Take Route 23 north to Union Valley Road. Follow Union Valley Road about 6 miles to stop sign. From Stop sign, go to second traffic light. Turn left, travel to fork in road (about 2 miles) go left about 1/2 mile to Warwick Turnpike. Turn left. The park entrance is four miles on the left. Entrance to Wawayanda State Park is not accessible via Cherry Ridge Road. The main park entrance is on Warwick Turnpike and should be accessed from this entrance.
