_The 2021 Ross Bridge 8K & Health Expo:

The Ross Bridge 8K is a race experience like no other!  Our aim is to create a family friendly atmosphere, while at the same time conduct a cmpetitive 8K run.  Various entertainment, vendor booths, and a health exposition will be featured near the start/finish line and delicious snacks will be available as part of your race registration.  Medals will be given away for the top 3 finishers in each age category, plus grand prizes for the top male and female. The race will be chip timed this year to provide more accurate results.

The professionally measured course includes a scenic route starting in the Ross Bridge Village Center, carefully patterned after historic resort style living of early America, crossing throught the six distinctive neighborhoods of the classic American resort town.  The route also takes advantage of just some of the five miles of activity trails that criss cross a slice of Civil War era history, with a grand finish at the vintage train station and welcome center!

Please join us!  Proceeds from the events will benefit Alabama Adult & Teen Challenge.  For more than 60 years Teen Challenge has been providing quality residential, low cost drug and alcohol recovery programs for individuals of all ages.  Although many have benefited from their association with the Teen Challenge program, this run is not about those from its 60 year past - It is about the 21 million Americans who need help with addiction today.  For more information, please visit www.alatc.org 

Event details and schedule

Packet pick-up will be the Friday prior to the race at the TrakShak in HOOVER from 11-6 or at Ross Bridge on race day at 7am.

Race Day Details:
On site registration will begin at 7am.

Race start time is 8am.

Race will be chip timed, so make sure to have your race bib!
