_The 2021 Set Free Movement Freedom Run:

This is our 6th annual event. We do this event to raise awareness about human trafficking and what the Set Free Movement is doing to combat it and to raise funds for this cause. This year we are also raising funds for a restoration home in Monterey Bay.

We are offering an in person event as well as a virtual event for those people who are out of the area or who want to participate but aren't able to attend. The in person event takes place as part of our Freedom Festival that includes pop-up, food, raffle, kids area, and more. The route is a flat route on roads through nice neighborhoods and along a trail next to a canal. The virtual event can take place any where and any time during the month of September. You choose the time and location. It can be on a treadmill, through a park, in your neighborhood, along a trail, etc. This is a fun run so anyone can partcipate. We encourage people of all ages and fitness levels to join in the fun and go at your own pace.

All registered participants will receive a drawstring bag, t-shirt, and other goodies while supplies last. In person participants are eligible for awards for the fastest male and female as well as fastest male and female in each of our age categories.  

Event details and schedule

Packets will be mailed to virtual participants soon after you register. 

In person event participants can pick up their bags beginning at 8:30am on Sept 25. The packet pickup is in the festival area at the booth marked packet pick up.The run starts on the west side of the church at 9:30am. There is parking in the church parking lot at the location of the event and along the street in the neighborhood.  

The in person route is along E Tuolumne, Daubenberger, Canal, and Johnson Rd in Turlock.

After your run or walk there will be water and bananas near the finish line. We encourage you to stick around for the awards and check out the booths.
