2022 Princess Disney Half Marathon Weekend
February 24-27, 2022
This year racing is even more incredible for princesses and princes everywhere. Taking place during the magic of the Walt Disney World Resort 50th Anniversary celebration, the Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend features events for all skill levels, coveted regal medals and Disney entertainment. Be inspired by some of your favorite Disney heroes to new heights of courage and kindness that propel you triumphantly to the finish line that ends with happily ever after!
We may not be quite ready to bring back every element of a runDisney race weekend as COVID-19 guidelines may change before our return to in-person running. Please visit our runDisney Return to In-Person Running page for the latest information.
While across businesses and communities COVID-19 guidelines are trending in a direction that could allow for a more familiar runDisney race experience, during the race weekend we may implement health and safety measures, such as face coverings, physical distancing and other requirements, if they are deemed appropriate.
Scott Carter was a 13-year old boy who died in December 1993 after a courageous three-year battle with bone cancer. The Scott Carter Foundation was formed to help make Scott’s dream of finding a cure a reality. Because SCF is operated by volunteers, almost all money raised will go toward finding a cure. Scott believed that if enough time, energy and money were devoted to children’s cancer research, a cure could be found. Please join us as we run through Walt Disney World, as Scott did as a child, and make a difference for children’s cancer research! www.scottcarterfoundation.org
