_The 2021 Reindeer Run 1/2 Marathon & 5k:

REINDEER RUN 1/2 MARATHON AND 5K

This race will surely get you in the Christmas Spirit! All the events start and end at Main Beach Park located on what we like to think of as our paradise... Amelia Island, Florida.

The 5k and 1/2 Marathon will run through charming neighborhoods and trot on our beautiful Egans Creek, where you will be welcomed by cheering neighbors and Christmas carolers throughout the route!

The 1/2 Marathon will also run the 5k route but will get the opportunity to run through our beautiful state park Fort Clinch and our historical neighborhood Olde Towne. Keep an eye out for our reindeer!!! *Walkers must be able to do a 16 minute mile pace (3 ½ hour time limit) for the half marathon. NO EXCEPTIONS.

While basking in your accomplishment, finish your race at the park with an ice cold beer, chocolate milk and Christmas cookies baked by the locals. Of course we have others goodies too.

For the kids we have a great kids zone with plenty to do including bounce houses. Plus a special appearance by Santa, who will run with the kiddos in their races.

What a way to start the holidays with family and friends! Come join the FUN!!!

Race Times:    

• 1/2 Marathon and 5k start at 7am sharp
• 1 mile Kids run starts at 10:00am
• 1/2 mile Kids run 10:15am
• 100 yd Kids run 10:30am

Packet Pickup

• Friday 12/3@ 1st Place Sports 3931 Baymeadows Rd, Jacksonville from 12-6pm
• Saturday 12/4 @ Current Running shoe store, 815 S 8th St, Fernandina Beach, FL from 1-5pm
• Sunday 12/5 (RACE DAY) on-site from 6-6:45am

*There will be on-site Race Day Registration 6-6:45am!

Register by November 24th to be guaranteed a race t-shirt.

All half marathon finishers will receive a medal.
