_The 6th Annual Smile Run 5K, Fun Run and Tot Trot:

Please join us for the 6th Annual Smile Run 5K honoring Christian Egner hosted by The Christian Egner Foundation.  Christian passed away in the fall of 2015 from asthma related complications.  He was a bright boy, full of joy, laughs and smiles - always a treasure to be around!  Proceeds from the race will go directly to organizations that benefit children, particularly those with special needs.

THE COURSE IS CERTIFIED AND IS NOW AN OFFICIAL AJC PEACHTREE ROAD RACE QUALIFYING EVENT.  COURSE CERTIFICATION #GA18043WC

Event details and schedule

Race Day Registration and Packet Pickup: Begins at 3:30PM

Tot Trot: Starts at 5PM

Fun Run: Starts at 5:15PM

5K: Starts at 5:45PM

Course:  The course is run on the paved paths of Etowah River Park and Heritage Park.

Awards: Awards will be given to the Overall Male/Female and top 3 in standard age groups beginning with 10 and under to 75 and over.

Timing and Results: Finish line management and results provided by Classic Race Services with results posted to www.classicraceservices.com, www.active.com, www.athlinks.com.

Shirts and Goodies: Shirts will be guaranteed to those who register by 10/1/21.  Registrations after that date and on race day are not guaranteed a shirt or size.  There will be plenty of refreshments plus carnival food and festivities.

Series Affiliation: The race is part of the 2021 Black Bag Race Series.

Other Info: In case of rain, the races will go on.  Delay of the start may happen in case of severe weather in the area at race time.  If severe weather continues, then the race director or local authorities may make the call to cancel the race at that time.  Sorry, no refunds.
