_The 2021 FOR The ROC - Run Into Recovery:

This is the annual Run Into Recovery for National Recovery Month. This year the run will be in support of two organizations, Focus on Recovery Augusta and The ROC in North Augusta.This year there will be a 5k as well as a 10k route. There will be vendors, music and giveaways. Prizes by age division. Tshirts and medals for every registered participant. 

We are joining hands across the river to ensure that recovery support services continue to be accessible and apporachable for everyone exiting substance use disorder and attemtping to grow themselves as well as their families. The opposite of addiction is not sobriety. The opposite of addiction is connection. Come toe the start line with us and showcase your growth with others no matter where you are on the physical spectrum. This is a run walk event open to all comers. This is a family and pet friendly event. 

Event details and schedule

The race routes will follow the Augusta Canal path from the old Lake Olmstead trailhead towards downtown Augusta along the Savannah River. The 5k route will be an out and back along mostly paved trail. The 10k route will follow the same route as the 5k extending further towards downtown. It is also an out and back style route.
