_The 43rd Annual Buggython 5K, 10K & 2Mile Walk:
Come to Barnesville, GA for one of the oldest 10K races (and lowest race entry fee for a 10K) in the state - The 43rd Annual Barnesville Buggython 5K / 10K / 2 mile Road Races. Event details and schedule
Race Day Registration and Packet Pickup: Starts at 7:00AM at Summers Field, across from the college.
All Races Start Times: ALL RACES START AT 8AM with the firing of a Cannon!
Awards: 5K awards will begin shortly after the last 5K person finishes. 10K awards will begin after the last 10k person finishes. Awards will be presented in 5K/10K to M/F Overall. Then Masters M/F, and top three M/F in age groups beginning 10 and under through 75 and over. The 2 Mile walk will not be timed but will receive a finisher ribbon.
Timing and Results:
Shirts and Goodies: Shirts are guaranteed to those who register by 9/08/21. Those who register after that date and on race day are guaranteed a shirt or size. There will be plenty of refreshments.
The races are part of the 2021 Black Bag Race Series.
Other Info: In case of rain, the races will go on. Delay of the start may happen in case of severe weather in the area at race time. If severe weather continues, then the race director or local authorities may make the call to cancel the race at that time. Sorry, no refunds.
