2022 Loop the Lakes 5K:

Support the Vernon Hills Park District Scholarship Program by signing up for our annual Loop the Lakes 5K Run/Walk. The course winds through picturesque Century Park Arboretum, one of Lake County’s most beautiful community parks. Runners and walkers can enjoy the beautiful sights and sounds of nature as they loop around Big Bear and Little Bear Lakes. This course does have small hills and inclines around the southernmost loop. Post-race snacks and water are provided. Awards are given to best overall male and female as well as the top three finishers for each age group. Awards will be mailed out the following week. Results will be posted online and emailed to participants. T-shirt sizes are only guaranteed for those participants that sign up by Arpril 18, 2022. Packet pick-up is on site prior to the race.   Fee: $30 through April 29, $35 on April 30.

Check-in will begin at 7:45am. Limited parking is available on site at 1401 Indianwood Dr. Vernon Hills, IL Overflow parking is available at: Parking lot entrance off of Lakeview Parkway just before railroad tracks. AND 1001 Lakeview Parkway, Vernon Hills, IL
