_The 2021 Friends of the National Arboretum Fall 5K:

Join Friends of the National Arboretum for our fall 5K at the U.S. National Arboretum. Take in the open roads, colorful foliage, and brisk air as you wind your way throughout the National Arboretum during the run. There’s even a virtual 5K option so you can participate from wherever you are in the country! Your ticket supports FONA\'s work supporting & promoting the U.S. National Arboretum and connecting people with nature through education, recreation, and events.  Tickets are $30 and include a complimentary neck gaiter designed just for this event. Race begins at 9 AM EST. Dogs are allowed but must stay on a 5\' non-retractable leash.

The 3.1-mile course winds over rolling hills and past gardens, meadows, and plant collections throughout the National Arboretum.
