_The 2022 AdventHealth Showcase of Citrus 5K:

Join runners and walkers on this 4th annual Citrus 5K as we dash through the groves and enjoy 100% pure Florida fun right in the peak of citrus season. You can watch the sunrise as you run through the fields and finish the distance with a refreshing farm fresh slushy or beer a few steps away. Participants will take home one of a kind custom pint made for those ready to tackle some miles in the famous Showcase of Citrus.

COURSE RECORDS:

Packet Pick-up will be at Dash Sports (741 W Montrose Street,  Clermont, FL 34711) from 1:00 - 7:00 PM Friday March 4thth &  6:30-7:15 AM race morning at the Showcase of Citrus. Registration during  packet pickup day &  race day will be $45. You must register on your own device, we will not have paper registration on site!!

Race start is 7:30 AM Participants will line up distanced from one another for a 7:30am start with corrals taking off every two minutes. Your time will start when your timing chip crosses the starting timing mat. 

Finish line will have hydration,  delicious snack and your choice of beer or farm fresh orange slushy.

Awards will start at 8:45 AM (maybe sooner) once the event has concluded. Our awards will be given to top 3 Male and Female overall, Male and Female Masters,  and Top 3 in each 5 year age group male and female, 14& under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+. We will not be posting them at the venue, you may log in to our results page to view them as participants finish. PLEASE do not crowd around the podium to cheer on your buddies, we know this is a fun part of racing but we want to continue to exercise with caution. The finish line area is pretty big so we encourage finishers to spread out and wait for their names to be called out. We suggest you  wear a mask to receive your award. Awards not picked up will be held at Dash Sports for ONE WEEK ONLY so please make arrangements to have them picked up if you cannot stay after the event.

Team/ Family Discount!! Bring the whole gang and take advantage of our family pricing when 4 or more members  register under the same Team / Family name. Teams of 4 or more will receive $5 off each participant. Upon creating the team, the first 3 registrants will pay full price, once the team minimum of 4 members has been reached, the previous 3 registrations will receive an automatic $5 refund. All registrations to the same team after that will already reflect the  discount.
