2012 5K Run for 9-1-1:
The first annual Run for 9-1-1 is an early morning 5K run/walk that features a beautiful course, chip timing, complimentary pancake breakfast, and fun for the whole family!
This race will benefit emergency responders in Volusia County.Course Info
This scenic 5K features a beautiful course with views of both the Halifax River and the Atlantic Ocean.
The route includes the Dunlawton Ave. bridge not once but twice!
A digital clock will be located at the finish.
All turns and miles will be marked with signs or volunteers but always make sure to know the course ahead of time.
The Port Orange Police Department will monitor traffic along the course and one lane will be closed for participants.
Water stations will be located at the start, half way, and at the finish.

4009 Halifax Dr., Port Orange, Florida
Parking will be available at the Aunt Catfishs Restaurant, the dirt lot across the street or in the old Chi Lings Restaurant parking lot.
Both are located on the corner of Dunlawton Ave. and US 1 / Ridgewood Ave. in Port Orange.
Look for signs and always cross streets at designated crosswalks. Other Info
Post Race Celebration After the 5K, join us for a celebration in front of Aunt Catfishs Restaurant.
There will be pancakes, orange juice, coffee, hot chocolate, and fruit. Plus, drawings for some great prizes during the awards ceremony.
Food and drinks are available to all participants free of charge.
Additional tickets for guests can be purchased for $5 each at the registration table.
