_The 2021 IB Run for the Future 5K: Bringing Families Together One Step at a Time:

For 12 years, we have been bringing families and our community together with our annual IB 5K run/walk. This year, this race is a fundraiser for ALL three International Baccalaureate Programs at Liberty Magnet Elementary, Sebastian River Middle, and Sebastian River High Schools.  The money we raise will be used for supplies for students, training and resources for teachers, end of the year celebrations for our students and their families, and much more.

TIMETABLE:
Friday, November 5th - 10 AM – 6:30 PM
Sebastian River Middle School

Saturday, November 6th at Sebastian Municipal Golf Course
6:30 AM: Packet Pick up and Late Registration
7:20 AM: Late Registration Ends
7:00 AM: 5K Starts!
*Awards Ceremony Immediately Following Race

Top Masters (40+) Male and Female
Top 3 in each Age Group: 
9 & Under, 10–14, 15-19, 20–29, 30-39, 40–49, 50–59, 60–69, 70 & over

HOW TO RUN A VIRTUAL 5K

A virtual race is designed to be 'raced' from ANY LOCATION at ANY TIME and support the International Baccalaureate Programs at Liberty Magnet Elementary, Sebastian River Middle, and Sebastian River High Schools!  You can run, jog or walk through streets, parks, or trails in your neighborhood/community or even on your treadmill. Map out your 5K route and that will be your course. Get out during the event time frame and participate in your race. Choose a safe course, socially distance properly as the current regulations dictate, and have some fun!  Upon completion of your virtual 5K, don't forget to submit your virtual results here between November 6th - 14th:  IB Run for the Future 5K Virtual Results.  To view, download, and print your digital race bib, follow these instructions:  Digital Virtual 5K Race Bib.
