_ The 2021 Cristo Rey's Run For Giving 5K Run/Walk:

Come join us on the Lansing River Trail, Saturday, October 23rd for Cristo Rey's 9th Annual Run For Giving 5K Run/Walk. The race will start at 9:00 am. Our race will have chipped timing with live results!

Early bird pricing starts at $25 and will last until September 15th, pricing will be $30 from September 16th to October 17th, and $35 one week before the event. Register early to secure the early bird pricing! Be sure to register online, there is no race day registration.

Special pricing: Ages 18 and under $5 discount. Families/Groups who register 3 or more participants at the same time receive a $5/discount per participant. 

Run, walk or roll! This race is stroller and wheelchair accessible. 

Proceeds from this event will go towards empowering those in vulnerable situations in our community through our Food Access Programs, Personal Needs Program, Family Health Center, Counseling Center, and our Financial Empowerment Center.

Packet Pickup:  Pickup at Cristo Rey Community Center on October 22nd from 3-6 PM and race day morning starting at 8am.

T-shirts: T-shirts are guaranteed until October 14th and then available as supplies last after that date. They will be distributed at packet pick-up the day before the race. If you're not able to pick up the packet the day before, you can pick it up the day of the race from 8-9 AM near the start/finish line at the registration table. 

Results: Your accurate chip time and current overall and age group place will be live on this site and available race day.

Awards: Medals will be awarded to the overall male and female and the 1st place winner in each age group (men and women). Overall male and female will receive an additional prize. Age Groups: 7 and under, 8-14, 15-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and over.

Fluid Stations: We will provide bottled water at the finish of the race. There will be no water stations, so please bring your own water for the course.

Parking: Free parking available in the lot next to Brenke Fish Ladder.

Virtual option available: Run/walk anytime now until race day, October 23rd. Cost is $25.

The race will be professionally timed by the Michigan Running Foundation.
