What you get…coolest shirt in town, fresh strawberries, bananas, water, medals for all finishers, placement medals if you’re fast enough.  Oh, yeah, and the coolest place to be on a Saturday morning in February.

COVID Standards for Strawberry Distance Challenge Run

Packet pick-up and check-in
No-touch check-in
All shirts, medals bib, pins, in a prepackaged envelope.

Social Distancing/Signage
Race starter, moderator, and DJ will remind and enforce social distancing via a sound system.
All runners are asked to keep a safe social distance between other runners.
• Runners are asked to pass at a safe distance.

Please Respect Social Distancing
Keep at least 6-feet of space 
between you and others.

Water stations
• Runners must bring their own reusable water containers. 
• Water coolers will be at the start/finish line and at two other locations on course for refills.
• Safe distances at the refill area with sanitizer.
• Hand sanitize before/after touching.
At the two water stations, a staff member will monitor and supervising sanitizing.

Personal Protective Equipment
Management will wear masks. Runners must wear masks when not out on the course.

Race Start
•Runners encouraged to stay 6-feet apart
•Wave start instead of mass start to reduce crowding

Sanitation and Cleaning
•Hand sanitizer will be available at the event at the S on the map.
•Hand wash stations when possible.

COVID Plan Posting
We have posted our COVID plan on the registration platform, website as well as email reminders in pre-race communication.

At-Risk or Sick Persons
Individuals who are in the higher-risk categories are encouraged to postpone their return to the SDC until a later date. If you feel sick or have a fever, please stay home and do not attend the run.
