2022 St. Paddy's Leprechaun Chase ~ Results ..

_The 2022 St. Paddy's Leprechaun Chase:

Kick off your St. Patrick’s Day celebration at our 7th annual St. Paddy's Leprechaun Chase 5K run on Saturday, March 12, 2022. Participants are encouraged to dress for the occasion in green or your favorite Irish costume. We start the activities at 8:30 AM with our Quarter-mile Wee Chase around Centennial Park for kids 8 and under. The registration fee is free for the Wee Chase, but parents of the little lads and lasses must sign them up through Runsignup (online) or at Centennial Park prior to the run.
At 9:00 AM our 5K starts at Centennial Park. This run winds through downtown Holland and out to historic Windmill Island with the return portion of the course taking the runner through the Hope College campus. The registration fee is $30. Register by March 6 to be guaranteed to receive either a St. Paddy's Leprechaun Chase long sleeve tech-blend shirt. This year there will be Finisher medals. We are working on awards for age group winners (top 3).
Pre-race day Packet Pickup will be at Gazelle Sports on 8th St., from 3:00 - 7:30. Race-day registration and packet pickup available from 7:30-8:30 AM at the race  Centennial Park pavilion. Race day registration will be $35. Both the 5K and Wee Chase on-site signup will close just prior to the race. Coffee, hot chocolate, Boxed water, donut holes and bananas and donuts will be available after the run.      
This is a fundraising event of Holland Running Club with proceeds will benefit the Lakeshore Chapter of myTEAM TRIUMPH, an organization that is dedicated to providing the experience of road racing to individuals with disabilities.

To prepare you for this 5k we are looking at offering a virtual training program. The program would start New Year's Day. Stay tuned for future developments.
