PRE-RACE PACKET PICK UP
Pre-race packet pick up: Friday, April 22 at the O.B.P.A.L. House, 194 Central Ave. 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM

AMENITIES
Participant medals, T-Shirt, (Availability and size of shirt only guaranteed to those who register by April 9. Participants not registered by April 9 will receive T-shirts based on a first-come, first-served basis), goody bags.

COURSE
The race will begin and end at the back of the trails shopping center. Racers will enjoy a scenic course though the Trails and Tomoka Oaks neighborhoods. Racers can enjoy donuts by Krispy Kreme at the Donut Stations.
 
5K USATF Certified Course # FL18033TY

The purpose of the USATF course certification program is to produce road race courses of accurately measured distances. For any road running performance to be accepted as a record or be nationally ranked, it must be run on a USATF-certified course. In addition, the certification program is very important to the average road racer, as well as those of exceptional speed. Most runners like to compare performances run on different courses, and such comparisons are difficult if course distances are not reliable. No one can truly establish a personal best if the course distance is not accurate.

RACE TIMING AND SCORING
The race will be professionally timed and scored by Hasselmania Productions LLC. The race will be timed using disposable, electronic tags attached to the bib number. Please wear your bib number to the front, pinned at all four corners, visible, and unaltered. Printed results will be posted at the race site and live online during the race at www.RaceSmith.com

Covid Guidelines

To protect the health and wellbeing of all racers, volunteers and spectators we have made the following
changes to our event, subject to change, which include the following below:
· A Face Covering/Mask/Gaiter will be required for all participants before the start and after the race
(not during the race). All volunteers will be required to wear a Face Covering/Mask/Gaiter during packet
pickup and at all times during race day.
· There will a secure assigned staging area for the 5K. A rolling start will be used to allow runners to
social distance. The first runners would begin at 8:00 AM and everyone would have 15 minutes to get
started. This allows for runners to social distance themselves at the start.
· We are working to reduce touch points for participants and provide cleaning and sanitation methods
for all volunteers. We will distribute sealed bottled water, pre-packaged snacks and race results will be
available online. Hand sanitizer will also be readily available.
· Participants, volunteers and spectators will be encouraged to practice social distancing before, during
and after the race.
