_The 2021 Masquerade 5K Run/Walk:

Join us at the Masquerade 5k Run/Walk benefiting 1MISSION. The event will take place on October 30, 2021 at 8 am at Vail Christian Church.

All proceeds will benefit 1MISSION, a community development organization giving people in poverty the opportunity to earn a house by serving their community.

All participants will receive a masquerade accessory and race t-shirt. Unique awards will be presented to the top three finishers in various age groups for the 3-mile run/walk. 

The timed race will take place along the bike path on the loop with one water stop for race participants. Chick-fil-A gift cards, fruit, and water will also be provided for participants at the conclusion of the event.

-Packet pick up starts at 7 am
-Gates will close at 7:50 am
-Race begins promptly at 8 am
-Awards presentation at 9 am. 1st, 2nd and 3rd for both male and female, in age categories as follows:
12 and under, 13-17, 18-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+, overall male and overall female

-Plenty of parking will be available in the church parking lot. You will be guided to your space by our security staff. Feel free to also park in the dirt lots outside of the front gate on either side of the bike path.

What to expect:

-Three stations will be set-up for race registration-bibs, shirts, and masquerade masks.
-Porta potties will be available near the registration stations
-Late registrations will be available on race day, but we cannot guarantee a race shirt
-Water stations will be positioned on the path
-Bottled water and fruit will be provided at the conclusion of the race

Peter Piper Pizza- will be donating 15% of all proceeds when you dine-in or get take-out at two locations throughout the day. See flyer on race day.
