_The 3rd Annual Run Craig Run:

The 3rd Annual Run Craig Run (RCR) will be held on November 13, 2021 in Rock Point, Az.   The event will also have the option of participating virtually.  The virtual run will begin on Sunday November 7 through Saturday November 13, 2021. This year we have added a half-marathon (as a token of missing out on our live race events in the year 2020).  Due to COVID, all events will start at 9am through 10:30 am staggered start times, with cap of 150 runners.

·      10K Run - $35
·      Half-Marathon - $45
·      Virtual 5k, 10k, Half-Marathon: $35
 
There will be awards to top 5 finishers (male & female) in all 3 events.  (On site runners only)
Race shirts for all paid runners.  Food will be provided for all on-site participants.

The course for all 3 events will be an out and back route starting at the base of Rock Point (the actual rock point landmark), approximately .25 miles west of Rock Point store. There will be water stations with energy drinks and energy snacks.  

The net proceeds from the RCR event will  be donated to the “Craig D. Begay Memorial Scholarship", established in 2021.  The mission of the Craig D. Begay Memorial Scholarship is to honor the life of Craig D. Begay and to continue his legacy.  Through Craig’s faith in God, he showed perseverance, generosity, courage, and humble service.  This scholarship is to provide a one-time monetary award to two deserving Native American graduating high school seniors. The criteria for scholarship will be available upon request.
