2012 Freedom 8k Run/Walk:

  • Freedom Marathon, Inc.s is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizatio whose mission is to raise awareness and engage the public through running and walking to support the needs of veterans and their families, delivering a message of hope and assuring them that America has not forgotten their sacrifices.
  • There are no dues or fees to join Freedom Marathon, Inc. We believe those are paid on the battlefield and in service to our Country. Freedom Marathon, Inc. believes the greatest casualty is forgetting our veterans.
  • We will also support local charitable municipality initiatives critical to the vitality of the region.

    Finisher Medallion for ALL Registered Participants.

    Overall Winners:

    • Open Male/Female (each gender) is three deep (1st through 3rd).
    • Male/Female (each gender) Wheel Chair Division is three deep (1st through 3rd).
    • Top three Stroller finisher (combined male and female) is three deep (1st through 3rd).
    • Male/Female (each gender) Masters is one deep.
    • Male/Female (each gender) Grand Masters is one deep.

    The award is a commemorative/attractive trophy.

    Awards are three deep (1st through 3rd) for runners and walkers in each category for men and women (each gender):
