_ The 2022 Denver 5K:

THE Denver 5k! Denver's Iconic Sloan Lake is the setting for the return of 'THE Denver 5k'. Celebrate with friends and family as you race around the lake in the shadow of Denver's skyline. Group pricing applies; youth and senior pricing are offered as well! Held at the start of September, THE Denver 5k is the perfect 'cool down' to the racing season! 

We'll have an Elite Wave to start before the regular start time! This is to ease congestion on those trails. The Elite Wave is open to runners that can run a 5k in 26 minutes or less. See schedule for start times. Overall awards will be awarded to those in the elite wave (based on gun time). All other awards (including age group awards) and rankings will be combined between all waves (based on CHIP times). That means, if you start out with the regular wave (at 9:30 am) and race faster than those in the elite wave, you can still WIN!
