_The 2021 Pequot Runners Thanksgiving Day Race:

The Pequot Running Club is pleased to present the 44th Annual Pequot Runners Thanksgiving Day 5-Mile Race and 2.6 Mile Walk! 

We will be adhering to CDC recommendations regarding Covid safety protocols.  Please read the following information and instructions:

• The race is limited to 4000 runners
   
• Pick-up on Monday & Tuesday and Wednesday (10:00 AM - 2:00 PM) will be inside.  Wednesday evening and Thursday morning will be outside under tents.
   
• All entrants must have been vaccinated (2 doses for Pfizer and Moderna, 1 dose for J & J) by November 14, 2021. 
   
• Please pick up bibs, shirts, etc. prior to race day at Wakeman Club, 385 Center Street, Southport
   
• Pick-up times/dates: 
  
  Monday, Nov. 22 - 10:00 am to 2:00 pm 
  Tuesday & Wednesday, Nov. 23 & 24 - 10:00 am to 2:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm      
  Thursday, Nov. 25 - 6:30 am to 8:00 am
   
• Race day…arrive early for best parking location…the race will start promptly at 8:15 am…allow plenty of time !!!!!
   
• Neck gaiters to be mailed to all virtual entrants.  Gaiters, while the supply lasts (we will have 1500 available), will be given to all in-person entrants during race week pick-up, so pick up as early as possible.
   
• Bibs must not be folded so the timing tag on the back of the bib remains intact and must be worn on entrants’ front of most outer garment and must be clearly visible when crossing the start and finish lines.
   
• If for any reason the event is cancelled, your entry fee will be refunded.  The processing fee associated with your entry cannot be refunded.

Pequot Runners will continue its tradition of giving to such organizations as Wakeman Boys/Girls Club, Domestic Violence Crisis Center, Junior Achievement, Fairfield Museum, Pequot Library, Westport EMS and more.  Thank you for supporting our event and helping us achieve our goals!
