_ The 2022 Clash in the Carolinas:
 

Relay Team Competition:

*  An iron distance and half iron distance triathlon for 3-person teams only
*  $3,000 prize purse (Iron distance race only)
*  Distinctive awards in numerous categories
*  Limit - 250 teams
*  All three segments take place simultaneously

Individual Competition:

Individuals may register and compete in any of the following events:
*  1.2-mile swim
*  2.4-mile swim
*  56-mile bike
*  112-mile bike
*  Half Marathon
*  Marathon

NOTE:  There is no individual triathlon competition.

RACE START TIMES

56-Mile & 112-Mile Bike:  7:00 am

13.1-Mile & 26.2 Mike Run:  8:30am

1.2-Mile & 2.4-Mile Swim:  9:30 am

 

RACE DISTANCES

Swim:  2.4 Miles & 1.2 Miles

Bike:  112 Miles & 56 Miles

Run:  26.2 Miles & 13.1 Miles

PACKET PICK-UP

Location:

Goldsten's Beach (Race Site)

Days/Times:

Friday, Sept. 10th:  5:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Saturday, Sept. 11th:  5:00 am - 6:30 am

Mandatory Photo ID: All participants will be required to show photo ID at packet pick-up). You will not be given your race packet without photo ID!  All participants must pick up their own race packet.

Medical Form: Please make sure you fill out the medical form and have it with you at packet pick-up. This form is mandatory. You will need to turn it in to receive your race packet. The medical form is found on the last page of this document and on our event web page.

Important things to remember :

•   A photo ID is required for packet pick-up.
•   Cash, Check or Credit Card are accepted.
•   You must fill out a medical form for packet pickup. Please complete this Medical form and bring to packet pickup.
•   All participants must pick up their own race packet. 

PARTICIPANT MEETING:

A participant orientation meeting will be held at 6:00 PM on Friday (9/10) on the beach. We will cover as many details as possible about the race and questions will be encouraged. This meeting should last about 30 minutes - we encourage everyone to attend.
