2022 Hooves To Freedom 8K Trail Race ~ Results

• 8K Run:- Run 5 Miles

_The 2022 Hooves To Freedom Trail Race (8K):

8k or 5-mile race on Buck Davis's farm in Patterson, GA. The all dirt trail winds through dirt roads, fields, pecan orchards, and across a pond dams. There is a shallow stream to cross, and if it rains the course can be very muddy. There is also a Virtual (or Ghost runner) option for those who cannot come in person but still want to show their support.

NOTE: There will not be a 1-mile run this year. 

Proceeds will benefit Hooves To Freedom, a local non-profit, Christian-based ministry based in Blackshear that supports the surrounding counties and offers Equine and animal-assisted activities for individuals ages 8-108. Our focus is to minister to those with mental, cognitive, and behavioral disorders. We also have specific activities for at-risk youth, victims of trauma, abuse, and grief.

Awards: Overall, Masters (40 and over), Grand Masters (50 and over) & Top 3 Male and Female Runners in each age group.
Age Groups: 12 and under, 13-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34,35-39, 40-44,45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-66,65-69, 70+

Local hand-crafted awards. 

Fees include a long sleeve Sports Tech T-Shirt. Registration must be in by Midnight 01/19 to reserve a shirt.
