_The 2021 Run for Your Lives Hopkins County Community Clinic 5K:

You have an incredible opportunity to make a lasting impact on healthcare in Hopkins County by standing with University of Louisville School of Medicine – Trover Campus to promote the well-being of individuals in our county. This is the second annual 5K to raise money for the Hopkins County Community Clinic. This year our 5k Walk/Run will be a “ghost run” meaning it will be held virtually, in order to comply with social distancing guidelines.

Throughout the day we will have live raffles on our facebook page with multiple valuable prizes, contests with prizes (funniest costume, most creative costume, best kids costume, best family costume), and prize for fastest time 5k completion.

The Mission of the HCCC is to provide affordable medical care for the under and uninsured residents of Hopkins County. All medical personnel that work the clinic are volunteers and consist primarily of third year medical students who are passionate about the underserved in rural areas. Most of them are from rural areas in Kentucky and plan to serve in their own communities.
