_The 5th Annual Hope for Lillian Grace Reindeer Run:

This event is the 5th 5k and 1 Mile Fun Run event we're holding to support Hope for Lillian Grace!  Hope for Lillian Grace is a 501(c)(3) set up to benefit Lillian & Quinn Ball and their family as they continue their trek with Autosomal Recessive Polycystic Kidney Disease (ARPKD).

This has been the biggest year yet for the Ball family. Lillian Grace (8) received her much anticipated kidney transplant, along with right kidney nephrectomy, on May 11. Just shy of 4 weeks later, on June 7, Quinn Renee, the family's second ARPKD warrior, was born. Although Quinn did not have an extensive NICU stay like big sister, her ARPKD complications were full steam ahead since day one. Quinn was also diagnosed with hypertensive cardiomyopathy on August 10, due to her hypertension from her large kidneys. She spent 51 days in the Cardiac ICU. The family has again endured a trying season of ARPKD, and relies heavily on this annual event to help them offset costs. Below are some highlighted costs that you help cover by participating!

Quinn's injections: $300 every 21 days

One month of oral medications for Quinn: $233.75

Syringes for both girls every 60 days: $71.92

Every Gainesville trip: $20-$30 gas

Hospital/Appointment Meal for Jamie, Joe and Lillian: $30-$50

Ambulance Fees: $150

Lillian's Lab draws: $150

These are just a few costs that the family endures, even with medical insurance. So you see, every bit helps!
