Dearest AFCO Teammates,

Tis the time of year when leaves change color, the north wind doth blow and we ruminate on all of the things that we are grateful for. That can naturally lead to thoughts of recovering following our post-Holiday indulgences; and more importantly, considering those who are less fortunate than ourselves. To help out, your chums at the Blue Ribbon Committee (BRC) have an elegant remedy for your Fall Blues.

The great minds of the BRC have come together - and it is our distinct pleasure- to bring you the inaugural AFCO Virtual 5K Charity Turkey Trot.  You are cordially invited to run, walk, hop, skip or “trot” at your own pace with friends and family. We encourage your participation in this fantastic event for which registration will be open between November 20th through to December 4th. 

To add a little ‘pumpkin spice’, we’ve nominated Feeding America to benefit from any donations you make. Feeding America donates meals to those in need, across the United States. As if that wasn’t enough motivation, the BRC furnish participating AFCO teammates with a free Turkey Trot T Shirt fresh from the catwalks of Milan; and our Senior Leadership Team has proclaimed that they will match any teammate donations – how splendid is that ? What we ask in return, is a selfie of you enjoying the event (which will be shared with fellow AFCO brethren). Photos can be sent to the Blue Ribbon Committee at [email protected]
