_ The 2022 Back the Blue K-9 1 Mile (mostly downhill) run:

This is the first year for this race/walk. There will be 3 waves, runners, runners with dogs, and walkers with or without dogs. The event concludes at Southcack Tap Room where music and awards will be presented. All proceeds will benefit the Pickens K-9 unit. Feel free to bring your well behaved dog with you. Complimentary shuttle service will be available to take you back to the Pickens Doodle Park.

Wave #1 6:00pm runners without dogs

Wave #2 6:05pm runners with dogs

Wave #3 6:10pm dogs, walkers, strollers ect

Cash awards for the top 3 male and female runners over 18

1st place $100

2nd Place  $75

3rd Place  $50

Packet pickup is Thursday night 5:00-5:45pm Sept 9, 2021 at the Pickens Doodle Park

Tee shirts will be given to participants who register before Sept 1st. After Sept 1st the price will increase and tee shirts will be available on an as available basis. Tee shirts must be picked up at packet pickup.
