2022 Tryon Half Marathon...

_ The 2022 Tryon Half Marathon :

The Tryon Half Marathon is the perfect course for first-timers and those who appreciate a softer surface without going fully "trail"!  It will be hard to find a flatter, more scenic mountain course than this one. Fall temperatures and a mostly packed dirt/gravel course that meanders along a riverside through Tryon's famous "horse country" are all that is needed to make this an unbelievable 13.1 experience.

What our return runners rave about the most, though, is the hospitality and fantastic breakfast that is served after the race.  From baskets of muffins and bagels to hot egg casseroles and copious amounts of delicious fruit, you will not be disappointed! Dependent on COVID-19 Restrictions at the time of the race.

• Packet Pick-Up and In-Person Registration will be held at the Harmon Field Log Cabin (next to the playground).

• No packets will be mailed. CASH OR CHECK ONLY FOR IN-PERSON REGISTRATION.

• Registration & Packet Pick-up: Friday November 12th from 4:30pm-6:30pm - Race Entry Fee $70.00

• Registration & Packet Pick-up: Saturday November 13th from 6:30am-7:30 am - Race Entry Fee $70.00

• Course will be open from 8:00 am until 11:30 am. Please be sure you can complete the race in the 3.5 hour time limit.

Race shirts are unisex sizing. The shirts will be ordered Friday October 15th.  Please register by Thursday October 14th to be guaranteed a t-shirt. Race shirts can be exchanged for a different size, or picked up after the race provided there are any additional available.  If you do not want a shirt, please choose that option during registration. 

All finishers will receive a commemorative Finisher's Medal.

Awards Ceremony will begin at 11:00AM near the picnic shelter.

Awards will go to top three (3) Overall Male & Female, Master's Male & Female. Age Groups Awards will go to top two places for Male & Female.
