_ The 2022 5K Run for Mental Health and Wellness:

Come join the New Lenox School District 122 PTO and Wellness Committee in supporting Mental Health and Wellness by participating in a 5K Run/Walk for Mental Health and Wellness event.  Start your day by walking or running the 5K and stay for the Wellness Fair. The Wellness Fair will include businesses from the surrounding areas that can aide in mental, physical and nutritional wellness as well as self-care.  Make a day of it and join the FREE fitness classes, have the kids join the youth activities and purchase some fabulous food from the food Trucks!

This is a non-profit event.  All proceeds and donations will be evenly presented to 2 nonprofit 501(c)(3) organizations; NAMI Will-Grundy and NLSD122 PTO.  

Donations are a great way to support the cause even if you can’t take part in the event.

NAMI Will-Grundy (National Alliance on Mental Illness) is based out of Joliet, IL.  It's mission is to provide advocacy, education, support and public awareness so that all individuals and families affected by mental illness can build better lives.

The NLSD 122 PTO (New Lenox School District 122 Parent/Teacher Organization) raises funds to help better the students/ education and wellness through library, music, art and physical education program enhancements, replenishing indoor and outdoor recess equipment, academic support grants and assemblies as well as teacher reimbursements and student scholarships.
