_ The 2022 5K VFW 6527 Run/Walk for Warriors:

The Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6527 in Greenwood, Arkansas, will be hosting a chipped-timed 5K Run/Walk for Warriors on February 26, 2022.  This is a great event for a very worthy cause.  All monies raised will be used to help or assist local veterans in-need within our community.   

The 5K check-in will be at our VFW POST on the Square, at 305 E Center St. The starting point will be in front of the Greenwood Police Department on Old Hackett Rd.  The route will take you up Bell Road, pass behind the high school and back down Main Street, with a finish at Town Square. 

The race will be officially chipped and timed with Jaymax Race Timing Services, and we will have volunteers manning various locations along the route.  There will be MEDALS FOR ALL PARTICIPANTS and t-shirts for the first 300 to register.
