_ The 2022 Bearcats Dash & Bash:

Dear Bearcats Dash & Bash Supporters,

After much consideration of current COVID-19 circumstances, we are sad to report that our Bearcats Dash & Bash is canceled for 2020.  If you already have registered for this year's race, please see the policy below regarding refunds. 

We will see you on October 3, 2021 for an exciting start of our next Bearcats Dash & Bash!  We are committed to a great comeback! 

Refund policy:  Those who already registered for this year's race have three options.  (1) You may count your registration fee as a donation to the two charities that sponsor the race (the Ohio Innocence Project and the UC Athletic Scholarship Fund); (2) you may defer your registration to next year's race on October 3, 2021; or (3) you may receive a refund.  If you wish to defer or receive a refund, please email Katie Wood at [email protected] by the end of the day on October 4, 2020; otherwise, your fee will count as a donation.

The 5th Annual Bearcats Dash & Bash takes place on October 4, 2020—your Cincinnati tradition for the First Sunday in October!

All races finish in historic Nippert Stadium!  Watch yourself run up the field on the JumboTron! 

The 5K run/walk winds through UC's award-winning Uptown campus, which features works by some of the world's most renowned architects.  

The 18.19K course celebrates the year of UC's founding in 1819.  This point-to-point course starts on campus, then takes runners out beyond: through Clifton's historic Gaslight District; past Spring Grove Cemetery; and through Fairview Park with a stunning overlook of the City. 

After the Dash, celebrate your success at the Bash! This post-race party will be held around the concourse of Nippert Stadium beginning at the start of the race.  Enjoy live music and exchange tear-away tickets on your race bibs for FREE food, soft drinks, and beer from several vendors.  Additional refreshments will be available for purchase.

All proceeds and donations benefit UC’s Athletic Scholarship Fund and the Ohio Innocence Project at UC’s College of Law.
