Hey Huskie fans! Lace up your sneakers because NINE runners (the top three finishing students, women, and men) will each receive:

• Two (2) tickets to NIU's first home football game of the season, the day following the race, September 11, 2021
• A VIP tailgate package with complimentary food and beverage
• Field access pre-game
• Winners will receive their race award on the field during the game! How cool is that?!

THE TOP THREE in each category also receive:

• Best Time: $100
• Second Best Time: $50
• Third Best Time: $30

The 5K RUN/WALK will be held at The North 40, which is the official NIU Cross Country course located just north of Barsema Hall. Parking will be a breeze. Celebrate the launch of the NIU Cross Country and Football seasons. Meet Executive Vice President and Provost Beth Ingram and NIU President Lisa Freeman at the post-5K meet and greet. Food and beverages and more will follow the 5K right there at The North 40. Your registration includes a race T-shirt and more! Come, build a tradition with us and cheer on your Huskies! Proceeds support NIU Cross Country.
