_The 2022 Frostbite 5k Run:
The race originated in 1979 as part of the Fremont Winterfest Celebration. It is the only event from the Winterfest Celebration that continues today. The race is a fundraiser for the Fremont Boys and Girls Cross Country teams.
COVID Information - Due to the event being a fundraiser for the Fremont High School Boys and Girls Cross Country teams we have to follow MHSAA guidelines for the event. If high school sports are cancelled or postponed on the race date we will have to cancel the race. The race will not be rescheduled.
The headquarters is the cafeteria of the Fremont High School. The start and finish of the races will be on school grounds. Locker rooms and showers will be available for race participants.
The entry fee for the race is $30 per runner. The late registration fee is $35. On-site registration will be available from 8:15 - 9:45 a.m. on race day in the lobby area.
T-Shirt available thru January 28th. There will be a few shirts available at race day registration.
